The Gateway Eagles held off the host East Lee County Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clewiston for a non-league test on Monday, October 16. Gateway will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Avon Park (Avon Park, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.

The Jaguars (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Fort Myers (Fort Myers, FL). The Green Wave enter the non-league test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, Fort Myers was nudged by Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
