Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a Cumberland match, on Tuesday, October 17. Eastside will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record.

With the loss, Thomas Walker drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league match on Monday, October 16. The Generals come into the match with a record of 2-5.
