The Gloucester Dukes topped the visiting Phoebus Phantoms volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Dukes now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a Peninsula test on Tuesday, October 17. Gloucester will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-12.

The Phantoms (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Monarchs enter the Peninsula test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Menchville gained a win over Hampton (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
