The Gold Beach Panthers volleyball team (Gold Beach, OR), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Oakland Oakers (Oakland, OR)

The Oakers (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Eagles come into the 2A Valley Coast challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, East Linn Christian Academy went down by Monroe (Monroe, OR), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Lowell Devils (Lowell, OR) in a 2A Valley Coast challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Gold Beach will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Devils come into the challenge with a 22-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Central Linn (Halsey, OR).
