The Highland Park Scots volleyball team (Topeka, KS), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS)
The Sabres (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Mavericks enter the non-league challenge with a 28-2 record. In their last challenge, Maize South defeated Newton (Newton, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Scots encounter the West Chargers (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Highland Park will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Emporia (Emporia, KS).
