With the win, Solon upgrades its record to 19-13 on the year. The Spartans travel to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-25. Central Lee lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA)

The Mustangs now own a 15-21 record. They play next when they host Roland-Story for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17. Independence will play a Norsemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 23-11.
