The Jeffersontown Chargers topped the visiting Shawnee Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Chargers now have a 9-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fern Creek for a District 24 test on Monday, October 16. Jeffersontown will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Valley (Louisville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 15-19.

The Golden Eagles (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Central (Louisville, KY). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, Central gained a win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
