The North Butler Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Hancock Eagles to 0 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bearcats now have a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tripoli for a non-league game on Monday, October 16. North Butler will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-18.
The Eagles (2-31) will now prepare for their game against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 4-14 record. In their last game, Northwood-Kensett dropped by North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
