The Staunton River Golden Eagles held off the visiting Northside Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Golden Eagles now have a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fleming for a Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, October 17. Staunton River will confront a Colonels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 1-17.

The Vikings (2-19) will now prepare for their test against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the Blue Ridge test with a 7-10 record.
