General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, General McLane moves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Lancers host Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA) to clash with the Bison in a District 10 Region 4 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Bison come into the test with a record of 10-4. Fort LeBoeuf lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)

The Rockets now sport a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grove City for a District 10 Region 2 test on Tuesday, October 15. Slippery Rock will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-2 league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-0.
