Fans at Saturday's league battle between the New Hampton School Huskies (New Hampton, NH) and the host Holderness Bulls (Plymouth, NH), saw New Hampton School's soccer squad hold off Holderness by a count of 1-0.

The Huskies (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Brewster Academy National (Wolfeboro, NH). The Bobcats enter the Lakes Region battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Brewster Academy National tipped Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bulls battle the St. Paul's Big Red (Concord, NH) in a Lakes Region battle, on Wednesday, October 16. Holderness will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Big Red enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Phillips Academy (Andover, MA).
