East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, East Mountain advances its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Sundevils in a A/3A District 1 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Sundevils come into the test with a record of 9-4. Sandia Prep won 3-2 in their recent league test against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM)

The Knights now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bernalillo for a 4A District 6 test on Wednesday, October 16. Del Norte will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
