Louisiana High School Volleyball - Benjamin Franklin over Academy of Our Lady

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) and the host Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA), observed Benjamin Franklin's volleyball team top Academy of Our Lady by a tally of 2-0.

The Falcons (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles enter the Division II District 9 contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, McDonogh 35 beat East St. John (Reserve, LA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Penguins meet the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA) in a Division II District 8 contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA).
