The Ballinger Bearcats volleyball squad (Ballinger, TX), dropped 3-1 in Saturday's league battle with the host Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX)

With the win, Sterling City improves its record to 10-13 on the season. The Eagles host Christoval (Christoval, TX) to encounter the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 4-16.

The Bearcats now own a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forsan for a 2A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, October 15. Ballinger will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Reagan County (Big Lake, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 21-11.
