In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Belvidere North Blue Thunder.
The Tigers (20-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Hononegah beat Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Thunder meet the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout, on Tuesday, October 15. Belvidere North will attempt to better on its 12-10 season record. The E-Rabs come into the bout with a 1-21 record after their 2-0 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL).
