The Whitley County Colonels volleyball squad (Williamsburg, KY), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY)

With the win, Bracken County improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-12. Bellevue lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)

The Colonels now own a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corbin for a District 50 battle on Monday, October 14.
