In Saturday's league challenge, the host Bullock Creek Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Meridian Mustangs.
The Lancers (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-17 record. In their last challenge, Coleman was beaten by Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI) in a Jack Pine challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Farwell (Farwell, MI).
