In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Douglas Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Burns Broncs.
The Bearcats (25-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcastle (Newcastle, WY). The Dogies enter the 3A Northeast challenge with a 6-19 record. In their last challenge, Newcastle was beaten by Wheatland (Wheatland, WY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Broncs meet the Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Burns will attempt to upgrade on its 1-24 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 20-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Newcastle (Newcastle, WY).
