Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars (Cicero, NY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cicero-North Syracuse improves its record to 23-9 on the season. The Northstars host Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY) to face the Hornets in a SCA- Empire test on Thursday, October 17. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 3-4.

The Wildcats now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homer for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. West Genesee will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Solvay (Solvay, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
