Illinois High School Volleyball - Fenwick over De La Salle

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Fenwick Friars volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the De La Salle Meteors.

With the win, Fenwick improves its record to 13-17 on the season. The Friars host St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to encounter the Vikings in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) battle on Tuesday, October 15. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 23-5. St. Laurence won 2-1 in their recent league battle against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL)

The Meteors now own a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host DePaul College Prep for a Girls Catholic (GCAC) battle on Tuesday, October 15. De La Salle will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL). The Rams record now stands at 24-3.
