The New Heights Christian Academy Cougars volleyball squad (Joplin, MO), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO)

With the win, East Newton improves its record to 13-14 on the season. The Patriots travel to McDonald County (Anderson, MO) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 3-20. McDonald County won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Seneca (Seneca, MO)

The Cougars now own a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cassville for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. New Heights Christian Academy will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-21.
