Nebraska High School Volleyball - Falls City over Sterling

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) and the visiting Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE), observed Falls City's volleyball team top Sterling by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Johnson County Central notched a victory over Auburn (Auburn, NE), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Jets meet the Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 14. Sterling will attempt to move on its 1-21 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 4-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE).
