In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Forest Hills Northern Huskies.
The Falcons/Kestrels (23-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Milan (Milan, MI). The Big Reds come into the Huron challenge with a 29-2 record. In their last challenge, Milan edged Airport (Carleton, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Huskies play the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Forest Hills Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 23-6 season record.
