The Harlingen Cardinals topped the visiting San Benito Greyhounds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's league game.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 game, on Tuesday, October 15. Harlingen will attempt to advance on its 21-12 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 14-13 record after their 3-2 league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX).

The Greyhounds (5-18) will now prepare for their game against Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Golden Eagles go into the 6A Region IV District 32 game with a 14-10 record. In their last game, Hanna was dropped by Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
