The Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 3-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Longhorns now possess a 27-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sanford-Fritch for a 2A Region I District 1 outing on Tuesday, October 15. Vega will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 24-5.
With the loss, Highland Park drops to 6-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to West Texas (Stinnett, TX) to play the Comanches in a 2A Region I District 1 outing on Tuesday, October 15.
