In Saturday's league challenge, the host Hodgeman County Longhorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pawnee Heights Tigers.

The Longhorns (10-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Ingalls (Ingalls, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 24-2 record. In their last challenge, Ingalls beat Meade (Meade, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Ingalls Bulldogs (Ingalls, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Pawnee Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 10-19 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 28-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Central (Coldwater, KS).
