California High School Volleyball - Milpitas can't hold off Homestead

In Saturday's non-league match, the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza match, on Monday, October 14. Homestead will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Matadors go into the game with a 18-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).

The Trojans (21-6) will now prepare for their game against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league game with a 17-2 record. In their last game, Branham nudged Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
