Next up, the Wolves confront the Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 17. Marion will attempt to advance on its 22-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 17-19 record after their 2-0 league loss to Kuemper (Carroll, IA).

The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 16-19 record. In their last game, Dubuque Senior gained a win over Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
