Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northshore improves its record to 10-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hammond (Hammond, LA) to encounter the Tornadoes in a Division I District 6 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 11-11. Hammond lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)

The Jaguars now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. Pope John Paul II will encounter a Redstickers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 9-12.
