In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Oskaloosa Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Ottumwa Bulldogs.

The Indians (11-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA). The Polar Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Des Moines North was beaten by Newton (Newton, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Ottumwa will attempt to upgrade on its 26-6 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 13-18 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA).
