In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Union Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Weston-McEwen TigerScots.
The Bobcats (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sherman (Moro, OR). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Sherman was knocked off by Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR), 3-2, in a league contest.
Next, the TigerScots battle the Cove Leopards (Cove, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Weston-McEwen will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Leopards enter the contest with a 19-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR).
