In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats football squad scored a big 48-0 victory over the Jefferson Hawks.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA) in a 5A Group 1 match, on Friday, October 21. Marshalltown will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Polar Bears enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 32-20 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA).
