The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks held off the visiting Air Academy Kadets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Red-Tailed Hawks now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palmer Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. Cheyenne Mountain will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Bears record now stands at 8-5.
The Kadets (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Palmer Ridge held off Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0, in a non-league test.
