The Volcano Vista Hawks held off the visiting Rio Rancho Rams volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 18. Volcano Vista will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-11.
The Rams (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Cibola held off Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
