Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Dutchmen confront the Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY) in a Conference 2 League B challenge, on Saturday, October 15. Tappan Zee will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Golden Knights enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 6-0 league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, NY).
The Red Hawks now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River for a Conference 2 League B challenge on Saturday, October 15. Nyack will confront a Pirates team coming off a 6-0 league win over Nanuet (Nanuet, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 10-4.
