St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sartans confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. St. Pius X will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record.

The Jaguars now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a 4A District 5 challenge on Monday, October 17. Valencia will confront a Hornets team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 3-13.
