The Alleghany Mountaineers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Radford Bobcats to 0 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mountaineers now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parry McCluer for a non-league game on Monday, October 17. Alleghany will meet a Fighting Blues team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Fighting Blues record now stands at 2-3.

The Bobcats (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record.
