The Rockingham County Cougars held off the host Atkins Camels volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Cougars now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atkins for a non-league test on Thursday, October 13. Rockingham County will confront a Camels team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Camels record now stands at 2-10.
The Camels (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record.
