The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Gustine Reds (Gustine, CA) and the host Denair Coyotes (Denair, CA), saw Gustine's volleyball squad nip Denair by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Gustine upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year.

The Coyotes now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waterford for a bout on Tuesday, October 18. Denair will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
