The Wildcats (15-4) will now prepare for their game against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Mallard Creek was nudged by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 6-1, in a league game.

The Cougars (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Southwestern 4A game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Butler nipped Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 4-2, in a league game.
