The North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) soccer nudged the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.
With the win, North Brunswick moves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Laney won 9-0 in their recent league bout against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout, on Tuesday, October 18. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record.
