Colorado High School Soccer - The Academy nudges Prospect Ridge Academy

October 13, 2022: Broomfield, CO 80023

The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Prospect Ridge Academy Miners (Broomfield, CO), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors (Brighton, CO) in a 3A/2A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. The Academy will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to Faith Christian (Arvada, CO).

The Miners now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson Academy for a 3A/2A Metro challenge on Tuesday, October 18. Prospect Ridge Academy will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 4-0 league win over Stargate School (Thornton, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.
