Virginia High School Volleyball - Grayson County nudged by Bland County

October 13, 2022: Rocky Gap, VA 24366

The Bland County Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils to 2 in the Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Chiswell for a Mountain Empire game on Friday, October 14. Bland County will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Galax (Galax, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-17.

The Blue Devils (9-9) will now prepare for their game against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons enter the Mountain Empire game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, George Wythe nipped Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
