The Block Island volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Narragansett Mariners to 2 in the league victory on Thursday.

The now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scituate for a non-league game on Saturday, October 15. Block Island will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.

The Mariners (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Warriors enter the Division 3 - A game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Central Falls held off Scituate (North Scituate, RI), 3-2, in a non-league game.
