The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes volleyball team (Wilmington, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC)

Next, the Hurricanes encounter the Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Rivers bout, on Friday, October 14. Cape Fear Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC).
