In Thursday's league contest, the Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Generals battle the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) in a SCISA AA Region I contest, on Monday, October 17. Cathedral Academy will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Dorchester Academy (St. George, SC).

With the loss, St. John's Christian Academy moves to 14-6 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, October 17. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 4-2.
