Illinois High School Volleyball - Evergreen Park over Hillcrest

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) and the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), saw Evergreen Park's volleyball squad beat Hillcrest by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Evergreen Park upgrades its record to 16-14 on the year. The Mustangs host Chicago University (Chicago, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 23-3. Chicago University won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Latin (Chicago, IL)

The Hawks now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they host Thornwood for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 19. Hillcrest will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 17-11.
