Virginia High School Volleyball - Lancaster over Westmoreland

October 13, 2022: Montross, VA 22520

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) and the host Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA), saw Lancaster's volleyball squad beat Westmoreland by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to play the Raiders in a Northern Neck bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 18-1.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Margaret's for a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. Westmoreland will play a Scottie squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA). The Scottie record now stands at 1-16.
