Illinois High School Volleyball - Polo edged by Milledgeville

The Milledgeville Missiles held off the host Polo Marcos volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Missiles now have a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Durand for a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. Milledgeville will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-9.

The Marcos (9-15) will now prepare for their test against Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Raiders enter the Northwest Upstate Illini test with a 4-22 record. In their last test, Ashton-Franklin Center held off Amboy (Amboy, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
