California High School Volleyball - Peninsula nudged by Santa Monica

The Santa Monica Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Peninsula Panthers to 2 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now have a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaminade for a non-league game on Thursday, October 20. Santa Monica will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 32-2.
The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Pilots enter the non-league game with a 2-17 record. In their last game, Banning nipped Narbonne (Harbor City, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
